Dr. Talke Ovie

Dr. Ovie completed her legal training at the University of Münster and at the District Court of Bochum. During her studies and legal training she worked at the Institute for Tax Law under Prof. Dr. Wolffgang. At this time she was already working in the field of customs and foreign trade law and wrote her doctoral thesis on "The IT procedure ATLAS (import) as e-government and its compatibility with customs and tax secrecy".

Dr. Ovie has been working as a lawyer since 2008. Her specialist areas of expertise are customs law, export control law, transport and freight law and excise tax law. Since 2011 she is responsible for these areas of expertise in the law firm HARNISCHMACHER LÖER WENSING Rechtsanwälte Partnerschaftsgesellschaft mbB (Münster). Since 2018 Dr. Ovie is also admitted as "Compliance Officer". She has a worldwide network of lawyers and tax consultants specialized in "customs and foreign trade law".  

In addition to consulting and representation, Dr. Ovie is also active as a lecturer (Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Federal University of Applied Sciences, independent seminar providers, in-house training, etc.). Furthermore, Dr. Ovie regularly publishes articles in journals and books on customs, foreign trade and transport law.

In addition, Dr. Ovie is active in a voluntary capacity. This includes her membership in the Außenwirtschaftsrunde e.V. (Foreign Trade Round Table) as well as the European Forum for Foreign Trade, Excise Duties and Customs e.V.
