Supply chain operations and customs formalities
Customs controls come into play at a very early stage in the supply chain. Therefore, before learning about customs formalities, it is important to understand how the international supply chain works and who is involved.

"Many companies find that their supply chains are very costly, opaque and unpredictable. This is almost always because the company does not or cannot comply with the requirements of the most efficient means of supply.
Good appreciation of how the systems work should enable goods to move without random interruption at the border, with minimal duties, and with full recovery of import VAT."
