Plusieurs acteurs publics et privés interviennent dans le dédouanement des produits alimentaires à l’importation. Afin de garantir la fluidité du processus, une étroite coordination et un partage d’informations entre ces acteurs doivent être de mise et sous-tendus par des processus informatiques solides. Forte de ce constat, l’Agence de la sécurité alimentaire de l’Inde a dressé une cartographie des codes de la nomenclature douanière par rapport à la Loi sur la sécurité et les normes alimentaires, entreprise qui a permis d’intégrer davantage les systèmes informatiques des acteurs concernés et d’assurer une meilleure gestion des risques.

‘Wood packaging material’ means any wood product in the form of packing cases, boxes, crates, drums and similar packing, pallets, box pallets and other load boards, pallet collars, dunnage, whether … or not actually in use in the transport of objects of all kinds; raw wood of 6 mm thickness or less, processed wood produced by glue, heat and pressure, or a combination thereof, and dunnage supporting consignments of wood, which is constructed from wood of the same type and quality as the wood in the consignment, are excluded.
